The B&B
"Corte dei Musco" B&B is in the historical centre of Lecce, near Porta Rudiae, in a pedestrian-only area and next to a large parking lot. It is on a ground-floor of a small, ancient building with a vaulted roof. The Building has been subtly restructured and is situated in a serene and characteristic court of Lecce.
The B&B has two independent suites that are comfortable and well-furnished. The each suite has independent air conditioning, heating and television. The suites have access to laundry services and a large, sunny terrace with a gazebo, small tables and sun-chairs.
You can have breakfast inside the B&B or out on the terrace, in the shade of the gazebo. The quiet court, being far from the urban noise, is a relaxing space to enjoy the picturesque scenery of Lecce’s historical centre.
The central location of the B&B is located only a few minutes on foot from the countless architectural gems and many services that make Lecce’s historical centre so precious. The nearby historical sites include Piazza St. Oronzo with its Roman amphitheatre, Piazza Duomo, many ancient churches (especially St. Croce’s Basilica, which is emblematic of the Leccese Baroque), the nobles’ old palaces with their artistic façades, the Sigismondo Castromediano Museum and the Provincial Library.
You can also enjoy the numerous restaurants in the centre that specialize in Salento’s typical local cuisine, as well as the many bars, shops and quaint areas where people meet each other at the night.
You can also walk outside the historical centre to the modern and central Piazza Mazzini, Lecce’s primary commercial area, whose many stores make it perfect for shopping.
